I help people figure out what they’re trying to say. And then I help them to actually say it.
I’ve written everything from packaging copy to adverts, websites, books, scripts and the inside of toilet rolls. I like telling stories. I like working with great people who really care about what they do. I like coming up with ideas and then making them happen. And sometimes I break grammar rules where necessary or where it looks and reads right. Like starting a sentence with ‘and’.
I won’t build you a brand pyramid, house or a set of pillars. Nor will I try to make you sound like anyone other than yourself. I will also not use any phrases such as ‘reach out’, ‘real time feedback’, ‘ballpark’ or ‘band width’. Not even if you speak corporate jargon fluently.
What I will do is help you say what is that you want to, in a way that sounds like you and that other people understand, like and want to read more of. My job is to find the best way to make your words work for you and then give you the confidence to eventually write them yourself.
